Thanks Hong. Is it possible to point  me the right template that needs to be modified? Also can you please confirm if we can change the subject content in the email and the sender description in the email?

        • Hong Gao

ORA New Account Template is the seeded template used for new user.  You will need to disable this seeded one and create and enable a new template which you can use to specify the changes you'd like to make.  Message Subject can be specified in the new template as well.

Not sure which part in the screenshot above is the sender description.  Can you please clarify?

          Thanks,

          Hong

Thanks Hong for pointing to right template. I have highlighted in Red the sender email description that needs to be changed.

Also I have another question on ORA New Account Template . Is this template for used both for employees and Supplier accounts? Our requirement is to change only for supplier account notifications and not for employee account notifications.

Can you please clarify on that as well?

Thanks for all the quick help and response on this issue. Much appreciated!!

The sender part is configured in workflow and is not part of the template. Since this template is part of user category definition, different user category can have different template content.  New supplier users are created with the Default user category assigned.

Thanks Hong. I see that there are two templates for user account creation Highlighted below. I see that ORA New Account Template is disabled and New Account Template is only enabled.

How will the system differentiate which template to be used for employee and suppliers user account notifications?

    • Hong Gao

All of these template shown in the screenshot belongs to one particular user category.  You will need to exit this and go back to User Categories tab in the security console.  From there, you can create a new user category and will see a list of notifications template that are associated to that particular user category. Unfortunately at this point, when creating a user category, you cannot specify if the category is for employee or supplier.

      Regards,

      Hong

I was going thru the document "Add Suppliers to Custom User Category for Notifications (Doc ID 2486588.1)" looks like there is no option for now to have a separate notifications created for employees and suppliers. I will log an Idea in the forum for ER.

Also why there are two templates with new user account ? ORA New Account Template is disabled and New Account Template is only enabled. what is the difference? Is there any significance for the templates that has prefix ORA?

    • Hong Gao

ORA prefix indicates that it's a seeded template that user cannot change. But can choose to disable if needed.

      Hong
