    Title:
    Smartview Extensions
    Summary:
    Grayed out items?
    Content:

I downloaded the Smartview extensions for Close Tasks and Supplemental Data ... I have these in my FCCS application and can see the new ribbons for both in Excel, yet all options are grayed out.   In SmartView options, both of these are selected as "Enabled".  Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?????

Did you connect to the FCCS application using the correct URL?

    https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/tax-reporting-cloud/ustrc/user_tasks_working_with_smart_view_connections_100xc75a9bd1.html

See step #4 - In Add Connection - URL, use the following syntax for the private connection, and then click Next.

    • For Task Manager

      http(s)://serviceURL/HyperionPlanning/cm/svp

    • For Supplemental Data Manager:

      http(s)://serviceURL/HyperionPlanning/sdm/svp

Ah ... I had Private Connections established previously and my instructions (FCCS section 29-32) did not provide these additional steps.   I am now all set.   Thank you!!!!
