    Title:
    Implementing Multiple Business Units
    Summary:
Would like to understand if Oracle PD and PIM ready for implementing multiple Business Units
    Content:

    Hi,

We would like to understand if Oracle PD and PIM having the necessary capabilities to implement a solution that would support multiple Business Units. We are already live with 1 business unit and evaluating the capabilities fo the product to determine if it can support 2 or more business units seamlessly. Our Requirements are as under

    1. Product Information of 'X' BU is not visible to users/suppliers/ vendors of 'Y' BU.

    2. The security configuration Roles/Privileges of  'X' BU should be created/ managed independently of that of 'Y' BU.

3.. SSO of 'X' and 'Y' should be the same as they are from the same Organization.

If you have any documentation / video / demo environment to showcase the capabilities of supporting multiple Business Units on the same POD , please share the same.

    Regards,

    NY.

      Hi,

I'm quite new to PD, trying to understand the features and functionalities yet.

Can't we make security accesses dependent on BU? meaning, BU specific role provisioning to users ?

      Thnx,

      Venkat
