    Title:
2 pane horizontal CONTEXTUAL view in Planning Central
    Summary:
How to create 2 pane horizontal CONTEXTUAL views in Planning Central
    Content:

    Hi,

I want to create 2 pane horizontal contextual view where in the top pane the demand plan table view is shown and in the below pane I want to place the graph with the same measures as they are in the top pane and again can it be contextual ? I mean users selection for the item in the top view should change the graph detail in the bottom pane.

I have attached the sreenshot document for what I am looking for ?

    Thanks
    Sanjiiv

You need to use Manage Links - and enable Dynamic Linking, between your table above and the graph below

      Hi Scott,

I know using Manage Links you can do that but graph opens in a NEW TAB what I want is graph displayed in the bottom pane to get refreshed..

If you have screenshots or any document links showing how to do this that would be really good.

      Thanks

        Hi Sanjiv,

You need to build a page layout with both the table and the graph already open in the upper and lower pane as you wish them to be.

Once the graph is already open pressing the link (or using dynamic link) will not open a new tab but rather update the already open graph although it is in a different pane.

        BR,

        Felix

      Hi Felix,

Thanks for the reply but logically what you are saying is RIGHT but I am still NOT able to create page layout with both the table and graph already open in the upper and lower pane ?

Please if you can send me the detail steps.. this view would be a big help for the client to analyze the demand/supply plan output.

      Thanks
