Want to know what's NEW in Release 7?

Find Out What's New in Release 7

    • Oracle Product Features is an online tool that allows you to view new features in Fusion Applications across multiple releases, families/solutions and products. Simply select the Fusion family or product(s) you are interested in, select the release or releases and see every feature associated with those selections. You can view online or generate your own reports in a variety of formats from the Reporting tab. Please note that you will need to login to this application using your Oracle Single Sign On or OTN account.
Oracle Cloud customers - as the recent upgrade was from Release 5 direct to Release 7 you will need to view features for both Release 6 and Release 7.  I think the easiest way to do this is to go to Reporting, select Print Product => Next, Select the family or families you want to view => Next, Check 'Include All Modules', => Next, then select both Release 6 and 7, => Next, Check 'Include All Features',  => Print Report (you won't have to print out the report if you don't want to!).
    • Now you know what the new features are you will probably want to see a bit more detail. Transfer of Information (TOI) presentations are created to show you what the feature is, how to set it up and use it. Many feature TOIs have associated Oracle UPK demo's that walk you through the functionality. TOIs are created for each release so you can look at either the current release or any previous one from the link given below. Please note that you will need to login to My Oracle Support using your customer login credentials.
Oracle Cloud customers should look at TOIs covering both Release 6 and Release 7 for their latest updates.
    • We also provide new feature information within the context of the Oracle Business Process Model (BPM) showing you where new activities or tasks have been introduced in the release. These new elements of the Business Process flow are highlighted in the specific release document and shown alongside existing levels of the Business Process flow to give you overall context.

If you would like more information or to provide your feedback, please contact Louvaine Thomson.
