How to Submit Imported URL Parameter without displaying it on interview?
    Summary:
How to Submit Imported URL Parameter without displaying it on interview?
    Content:

    Hi everyone,

We are developing an anonymous interview which is embedded on a regular HTML page to be filled out by regular visitors instead of agents.
The interview imports an ID as URL parameter which is sent via query string, and then submits the interview results (including the imported ID) to be stored in mapped fields of an OSvC custom Object.

For now, we got this functionality working end-to-end, but the URL parameter is being displayed on the interview as a read-only text field (set via "Read only > Show if > Always" option from Policy Modeling

However we need to hide this info from the person filling out the form, but so far we couldn't find a way to hide this field. (We'd like to have it functioning as a regular HTML hidden field).

How can we accomplish this? Would it be possible to write some Javascript, assign the atributte to a CSS class, set its visibility to NONE and still have it submitted over?

    Thanks in advance!

      Hi Bruno,

      Here are the steps:

      (1) Mark the OPA attribute you want to store the value in as seeded from a URL parameter

      (2) Map that attribute onto the OSvC custom object field you want to submit it into

That's it! No need to ever show it on any screen.
