    Title:
    Supplier catalog on Oracle exchange
    Summary:
    Supplier catalog on Oracle exchange
    Content:

    Hi,

    Do we have any documentation on how to upload a supplier catalog on Oracle exchange.

    I have done Direct cXML supplier punchout for some suppliers without any issues but need to configure uploading a catalog on oracle exchange for 1 supplier.

    Unable to find steps on how to setup the punchout url , company name etc for the Supplier on Oracle exchange

    Also is this a separate license or included in the SSP/Purchasing license

    Thanks

    Alex

    This is the information I have been provided relating to this:

    ===========================================================================================================================================

    Oracle Exchange no longer exists.  The network for exchanging B2B documents between Oracle Procurement Cloud customers and their suppliers was rebranded to Oracle Business Network: https://businessnetwork.oracle.com/snw/index.html Suppliers can also maintain punchout configurations/credentials for hosted catalogs.  But, I don’t believe there’s any support to hosted shopping on OBN allowing suppliers to load catalogs.

    For more details on licensing etc, I was asked to let you know that it is best that you contact your account manager.

      Oracle Exchange is not available anymore. You need to look at OSN for your requirements.

        Thanks Ashok

        Does the customer need to get a separate license for OSN ?

        Currently customer has the SSP,Purchasing licenses in addition to financials,projects etc

      Licensing questions are not my forte Alex. I could check with the concerned team and get back to you.

        Thanks Ashok , appreciate if you could find out regarding the licensing part

        There is a supplier who has a web ordering presence but does not have a punchout capability . i was wondering whether OSN provides this capability in the sense that if i register and give access to the supplier website?

        How do they expose their website ? Do they need to do any setup from their side?

      I am checking this internally. Will revert when I have details.

      Here is some additional detail I received today to supplement basically what was stated earlier:

      ====================================================================================================================================

      Oracle Exchange has been decommissioned and is no longer available - so there is no longer an Oracle service that can be used to host catalog content on behalf of a supplier (where the supplier lacks a web catalog capability).

      The Oracle Business Network (previously called the Oracle Supplier Network) is the B2B platform, available to all Oracle customers **at no charge**, used for exchanging P2P documents between Oracle Procurement Cloud customers and their suppliers. the OBN platform also supports EBS & Peoplesoft customers. In addition, OBN allows suppliers to maintain their Punchout configurations details/credentials on the platform.

        Thanks , that clarifies the point regarding hosting a catalog content , I had read some documentation regarding this earlier and assumed that OSN did the same as Oracle Exchange .

        Thanks for confirming the OBN/OSN licensing question as well

      Happy to help!

      Cheers
