    Title:
Environment Resizing – Service Entitlement Definition
    Announcement:

A new service entitlement definition document that describes the process for Environment Resizing service requests has been released on Oct 15th, 2015. The new document provides information on how to complete a Service Request (SR) for resizing Oracle Applications Cloud environments for ERP, SCM, HCM and Sales Cloud customers.

Please check Doc ID 2015718.1 for further details.
Customers and SIs will be asked to complete a questionnaire when they submit their Environment Resizing SR. You can also download this Cloud Resizing Questionnaire from same Doc ID 2015718.1 as you prepare to submit your Environment Resizing SR.

Why Resize the Oracle Applications Cloud environment?
By default, Oracle Applications Cloud environments are sized to support basic use of an environment. This default usually is sufficient for non-production environments but may not be sufficient for production environments.

    When to request Resizing?
Customers are asked to request an environment resizing at least 4 weeks before the date needed, to avoid any disruption to their implementation.  Environment Resizing is important to ensure optimal performance prior to a milestone activity such as Conference Room Pilot (CRP), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), or Go Live. The process can be repeated after initial resizing, whenever planned usage is expected to increase significantly due to adding new users, product modules, services, etc. Please keep in mind that Environment Resizing activities are only scheduled for weekends with no regular monthly updates, so advanced planning is highly encouraged.
