    Title:
Workaround to Export / Import Workspaces / Reports
    Summary:
Is there another alternative to migrate workspaces / Reports from one interface to another?
    Content:

We have to manage 15 interfaces. Making changes to a Generic Workspace (shared) and importing to all other 14 is very time consuming. Is there an alternate approach to this? Why isn't there an option to build once and deploy to all other interfaces?

    Version:
    18D

Yes, it's called the Element Manager and when added to your Navset can only be accessed through BUI. This is a mass export/import tool for reports, navsets and workspaces. It will create a zip file and you use an element manager on your other interface to import the zip and your reports will be created.

    From the user doc:

Element Manager allows configurable components to be grouped, packaged, migrated, and deployed across Oracle Service Cloud instances in an automated fashion. You can easily migrate configurations from development, to test, and then to production environments.

Element Manager allows the export and import of reports, workspaces, workflows, and dashboards.

Let me try that on the newer 18D instance.

I have an old instance (May 2017 SP5) that we are planning to sunset and was hoping to also just take a Backup.

      Thanks for your Help

Ah yes, that is an old one indeed :-D
I'm afraid it's the hard way for that one
