    Our Oracle Emerging Technologies User Experience team will be conducting research with Sales Reps/ Retail Merchandisers in the San Francisco Bay Area in January 2017 to learn about how retail merchandisers implement mobile solutions and to understand how workers are using mobile devices to support their daily work.

    We are in the process of identifying the appropriate end users to participate in this ride along/job shadowing activity and we need your assistance in doing so.

    Details of the research study:

    Date: Tuesday, January 17 – Friday January 27, 2017
    Length: One time, for 4.5 – 5 hours
    Location: San Francisco Bay Area

    • Role/Requirements:  Retail Merchandise/Sales Rep
      • Responsible for in-store display of goods and re-stocking of goods
      • Types of tasks performed: Managing inventory, checking available inventory, checking pricing on items, restocking, shelf placement, returning of damaged goods
      • 1-step vendor: people who deliver and stock goods on their own. They are not employed by the actual store where they stock.
      • 2-step vendor: people who stock the goods, but someone else delivers them to the store.  They are not employed by the actual store where they stock.
