    Hi Team,

    Can we migrate fields and other configs from test to production.

    If so folks,can you guide with the steps regarding the same.

      Hi, You can try to export & import. It works for properties, user types etc. Few of the things has be re-done like activity types in new environment, if you can't do an environment refresh from Test to prod

      Hi Mohana,

      Just to clarify what Shankar is saying, the first time you migrate from Test to Production, you can request Oracle do this on your behalf. This will wipe any and all config and data within your production environment and replace it with the config only from the test instance.

      After this initial migration any further migrations will have to be done manually. As Shankar says there are some configuration items properties, user-types, work zones that can be exported from one environment and imported into the other. You can use the API's to extract config / resource data from one system and import into another system, but to do this you would have to develop some tools by writing code.

      We can not migrate custom fields from Test to Prod.
