    Title:
One supplier user to access multiple suppliers' documents
    Summary:
One supplier user to access multiple suppliers' documents
    Content:

We procure material from a big conglomerate. For different tax payer ID's, we defined different suppliers. But they all belong to this parent supplier.

Now the question is how can we create one supplier user who would have access to the RFQ's and PO's for all the suppliers for this conglomerate?

For example, if there are 5 suppliers for this conglomerate and they are 3 users, how can these 3 users access the RFQ's and PO's for all these 5 suppliers? Note we cannot create 15 different supplier user accounts as we use email ID's as the SSO.

      Hi Dharma,

      Please check the below document

Supplier Contacts Should Be Able To Have A Single User Account For Multiple Supplier Accounts (Doc ID 2314896.1)

Solution: Consideration is to define those linked/related suppliers in a parent-child hierarchical relationship. For supplier contact that belongs to the parent supplier, the user can have the data security that allows him/her to view transactions across the hierarchy at supplier portal.

      Thanks

      Ramesh

Can the same user account manage the Supplier Profiles for all Suppliers within the Parent-Child relationship?

        • Hong Gao

No, the data security currently only supports managing transactions for suppliers in parent-child relationship.

          Thanks,

          Hong

Can you explain why this a data security issue? The current design of the product means that we would still need to have separate logins to manage the Profile information.
