    Default end user screen on opening rather than choose from menu

    End user to be presented with a screen when first logs in

    I have been told that it is not possible to give an end user a default screen as soon as they log in.

    What they are presented with instead is the navigation menu and they choose the screen? Why is this? Is there a way around it? It seems like a basic requirement.

    Ah, users in this case are users in the agent desktop I assume? (thought of end users on the customer portal).
    Out of the box you are able to specify a report or component as your standard view. This is done in the navset editor (right click on the report or component and choose "Set as default")

      You will be able to do this by using hooks
      You may also be able to this by using a custom widget

      post_login              - Called immediately after user has been logged in

      I have had a quick search but can't find much about hooks. Only webhooks which seem to be more concerened with external systems. Basically I just want the first workspace in the Menu list to open. Could you direct me to the right documentation area?
