    Title:
Pause/Hold a Bill only sales order after booking and before interface to AR
    Summary:
Pause/Hold a Bill only sales order after booking and before interface to AR
    Content:

We have a requirement to put a Bill-only order on hold right after it's booked and before it gets interfaced to AR. If we try to modify bill-only orchestration flow to add a pause, pause line only gets added after create invoice step. We need to understand is this is achievable by customizing orchestration process flow or any other seeded functionality?

Yes you can by customizing orchestration

      Hi Ibrahim,

Can you please elaborate this more. Can Pause be the first step in the process? How do we reference the event of order booking and the concerned order type while creating the pause rule? Would you have any sample that may help us?

      Regards,

      Neha

      Hi Neha,

If your referring to the fact that you are unable to add the pause step at the very beginning, then what you need to do is -add this pause step and it will default to step # 200 then remove the first one and re-write essentially the same one again -this time it will show-up as 200 and your pause step will come as # 100.

The wait step for the invoice however, remains unchanged.

      Hope this work-around helps.

      Thanks,

      Sunil

      Hi Sunil,

I tried this, but orchestration process is not working as expected. It doesn't go into pause. I'm currently investigating that. Meanwhile would you know if there are other ways to put order with a specific order type on hold as soon as it is submitted?

      Neha
