Hi All,
We need to derive separate labor cost natural accounts for employee and contingent worker hence I was trying to create Constant value type account rule having the rule condition as where person_type is 'Employee' . Then similarly another line for a contingent worker but the person_type source itself is not available to put the condition against.
How to identify the person_type or worker type for the cost transaction in SLA? The screenshot is attached.
Thanks
Hi Amit,
I too have used the worker type or contingent worker flag in AA in EBS.
And, it is strange that it is not available as a parameter to use in Fusion.
Given that constraint, I can think of two potential options as follows:
1. Have a specific job to all the contingent workers and use that Person Job Id (I can see that in your screenshot as an available parameter) and use that to drive your natural account segment
2. Create a User Defined DFF at the Expenditure Level (using the Project Standard Cost Collection Flexfield with a Contingent Worker Y/N value) and drive your natural account based on that value. This is an available parameter for Labor Cost/Adjustment in SLA. However, if you are using OTL, you won't be able to use Project Standard Cost Collection Flexfield and since this option is not available for OTL.
Hope the above helps.
Thanks

The source is called ‘System Person Type’
Thanks Dustin.
Amit. Per Dustin's comment, you can use either 'Employee' or 'Contingent Worker' to drive your accounting.
