    Hello Experts,

    We are currently working for a client that works on a contract basis with his clients. The Contract can be for more than a year. Once the Contract gets approved the activities need to be created in the Field Service Cloud. 

    It would be helpful if someone can help us in figuring out what could be the maximum days in the future for which activities can be created.

    As per our understanding, the maximum number of days activities can be created in the future is 1 year. Do let us know if our understanding is correct.

      Hi Prashant,

      I didn't see any document mentioning the time period as you mentioned, however i tried to create a activity for the future. I can able to create an activity till July 2021.

      Another question, in which system are you maintaining the contract period details? and through which system the activities are getting created?

      We are currently maintaining the contract period details and Activities creation from Oracle Service Cloud.

      Hi Prashant,

      The OFSC system allows activity creation up to 1000 days in future.

      There is no documentation on it. However, when you try to create an activity through API for a date too far in the future, it sends the error message as: Future days limit: 1000".
