Ignore 1 of 2 Attachments when Techmail creates incident

    Scenario:

Incident is received and contains two attachments.  One attachment is valid and the other is junk.

Is there anyway to remove the junk attachment apon creation of incident and leaving the valid attachment?

      Hi Marrisa,

Is there a way to know which one attachment is junk? Any Identifying reference in the Name of Attachments?

      Thanks

Yes, the file names are always consistent..  The file we want to keep always has  characters in the name, ie. ABCDEF.pdf

The file we do not want is thisfileisjunk_1.pdf. or thisfileisjunk_2.pdf and so on.

          Hi Marrisa,

In this case you can create a CPM and make it run/execute in the B. Working state.

In this CPM you can call a custom script to remove attachment using the CREST API call and in this Custom script you can fetch the attachments for that incident and put a regex for the name and delete that specific Attachment.

Or you can do so without calling Custom script and writing the Same code in the CPM itself.

          Thanks

      Use CPMs for this.
