    Title:
Restrict to upload files in root Documents folder
    Summary:
Restrict to upload files in root Documents folder
    Content:

We have created folders and defined members for the folders. However, we are not able to restrict any user to upload document or create folder in the root "Documents" folder. Is it possible to hide the Upload and Create link on the Documents folder (https://<env>/documents/folder/home) ?

    Thanks

Can you give me context for your use case?

Every person has their own root folder where they can create folders and add files. This is a core part of our product and we have no plans to change or restrict that.

One thing you can try is to remove/limit their personal quotas. This way, users will have access to the folders shared with them, but will not have enough quota to add or create content outside those folders. I'm not sure it'll work though, so you will have to try it out.

    Hope that helps,

      Understood.

Also, tried to set the user quota to 0. That is restricting the user to upload any file but not to create a folder which is self-explanatory.

      Thanks for your help,
