    Title:
For every single API hit in API CS, one extra hit /favicon.ico is logged in anaylytics
    Content:

    Hi Team,

We have configured some of the APIs in API cs. When we hit the any one of the service, API CS analytics getting one extra hit on /favicon.ico too which we can see in the analytics.

Is this expected behavior or something wrong.

Please help. Attaching the image for better understanding.

    Regards,

    Ankur

You are likely using your browser to make the request, which your browser is attempting to get the /faviocon.ico for the URL because it is designed to render a web-site.  If you use cURL, or other REST client, you should not be seeing those requests.

        Hi Robert,

You are correct, observed the same behaviour when hitting from the browser or some REST client (POSTMAN).
