    Title:
Incident font size after SP 16501sp4r17
    Content:

So it appears that something changed last night as all incidents are now opening with enlarged font on the Incident thread, and when responding the text in the response area is teeny weeny.  Our agents are now having to CTRL+mouse wheel or use the zoom buttons on every answer they work on.

The only thing we can tell is that we had SP4 for May16 applied overnight. No Windows updates, no policy changes etc. as far as we can determine.

Had a peruse around here and saw solutions talking about setting Windows icon fonts, but this doesn't work and IE looks fine when using it.

Anyone else have this following that upgrade?  Is there a config solution?

    Thanks

    Version:
    May16 SP4

SP2 has just been applied to Aug16 and I can confirm it fixes the font scaling issue.  A hotfix for May16 should also available soon.

We also started experiencing this jumbo font in the Message tab of the agent desktop incident viewer today.

I see that it is just the read-only text that is enlarged. Adding a new thread of any type allows text to be entered in a normal size. However, after that new text is added and saved, the new text is displayed in the enlarged font as well.

I tried copying the standard incident workspace again to see if that would help, but it did not.

Would also like some help with this as soon as possible.

Noticed the same. All of our customers are facing the exact same problem. Any news on that?

Ok, firstly thanks to the Tech Support team who provided a detailed description of the issue.  Secondly, sorry for my translation of it.

There was basically a scaling issue with the Windows WPF framework.  Oracle guys developed a workaround.  Seems that Microsoft have now  corrected the issue which has broken the workaround but "properly" addressed the WPF issue.  Oracle have now corrected the workaround and addressed the MS hotfix as part of Aug16 SP2.

We are entering our auto enrolment UAT window this weekend for Aug16.  SP2 drops on Nov 7th (during this window) when we will get to test the fix.  Once we launch Aug16, we will also get SP2.  So only 2 weeks of pain for our agents, could be worse. Ill let you know how it goes.

For some reason we didn't get SP2 yesterday so nothing to report :(
