Welcome message and instructions to apply for preview access to Adaptive Search and Workspace User Experience

Welcome to the Adaptive Search and Workspace User Experience forum for Oracle Engagement Cloud. I'm Eileen Leong, Product Management Director for the Adaptive Search and Workspace User Experience. This feature provides a fast, powerful modern search experience for Engagement Cloud. Check out the solution's capabilities and benefits in the Resources section of this forum.

The Adaptive Search and Workspace User Experience is currently available in Release 19A to customers participating in a preview access program. To apply for preview access, please answer the questions below and send them to me using a Customer Connect private message. To send a private message, click on my name above, Eileen Leong, and then click the “Send a Private Message” button. Oracle will evaluate your application and respond to you.

    • Please provide the name of your Engagement Cloud implementation partner, if applicable.  If you are an Engagement Cloud implementation partner, please indicate that.

If someone cannot participate in the early preview program, is there a timeline on when these features become GA for all?

      • Eileen Leong

Hi, at this time GA for this feature is still to be determined.  I will give another update when we have a more specific timeframe.

Let us know the General Availability Dates? Please make some videos to understand it better.

      • Eileen Leong

        Hi Mohan!
Unfortunately, the exact date is still TBD for when this feature will GA.  Please check out the resources section of this forum for some more information.  A video demo can be found in the "Readiness Training"  link in the 18C resource section and check out the "New Search and Workspace" topic at around the 3 minute mark. Hope that helps!

      Hi Eileen,

Thanks for your response. Looking forward the GA date :-)

      Hello Eileen.

Could you please add the link to the video?

I'm not able to find it.

      Thank you in advance

      Got it!

Is there any resource (video/pdf/post) about how the Elastic Search will look like?

      Thank you in advance.

We are live with Workspace - as of June 1st.   It is working for all native objects.    With our recent update to 19B will be rolling out SRs and Custom Objects probably by end of June.   Users are happy about the improved functionality - it really is replacing the OEC objects search, that was woefully lacking.

We were an early adopter...and I believe we helped Oracle get better on what to on widescale release
