These are new business objects for use with Risk Management's Advanced Financial Controls. If you've subscribed to that feature, you'll automatically see these business objects in your list when creating a new model.
Hello,
Please what would be these New Objects? The documentation is incomplete and user has to present these New Objects to the Business.
Thank you so much,
Daniela Crisan
Hello,
Which are the NEW OBJECTS, please?
If a company subscribed to that feature (Risk Management's Advanced Financial Controls) and a user has role for Risk management, once that user navigates to the home page, can he/she see an icon on Risk Management, and from there able to navigate through Advanced Financial Controls? then see those business objects in the list?
Thanks,
Rod
This information can be found in the Readme that is published on MOS for each quarterly release. Please contact Oracle Support to get the details on this.
Customer answered that he does not have access to Risk Management's Advanced Financial Controls
Hello,
I've found this in documentation:
Placing a perspective hierarchy in use is a two-phase process. First, you create the perspective hierarchy. (You use the Perspectives work area under Risk Management Tools to do so.) Second, you associate the hierarchy with objects that exist in a module. Until you associate a perspective hierarchy with an object, it is not available for use with instances of that object.
To complete the second phase:
Open the Module Perspectives page. From any Setup and Administration page, select Module Perspectives from the Related Links panel tab.
Click the row for the module in which you want to associate perspectives with objects. Then select Edit.
In a new page for the module you have selected, click Create, or select the row for an existing association and click Edit.
As you create an association, select the perspective and object that are to be associated. Once you save these selections, you cannot subsequently edit them. Moreover, you cannot associate more than 15 perspective hierarchies with any given type of object.
In Financial Reporting Compliance, you can associate perspective hierarchies with the Risk, Control, and Process objects.
In Advanced Controls Management, you can associate perspective hierarchies with the Model, Control, and Result (Incident) objects.
As you create or edit an association, specify whether a perspective is required, and select a status (Active or Inactive).
If a perspective is required for an object, a user cannot save an instance of the object unless a value for the perspective is selected.
Before operational data exists in a module, you can modify the setting of the Required option as you want.
After operational data exists in the module, you can change a required perspective to optional, but you cannot change an optional perspective to required.
Thank you,
Daniela
