    Title:
How to create a link from within an Excel rule.
    Content:

    Hello,

I'm using an excel rule to  create infer entity instances of "the narrative".  The applicant answers follows the instructions and answers the questions that show up on the screen as each entity instance appears.  For some of the instructions that are contained in "the narrative instructions" attribute, I would like to offer links to answers in the knowledge base.  But so far I haven't figured out how to get OPA to interpret the a href html command as a link rather than just text.  Is there a way to do this from inside an excel rule?

    Thanks,

      Hello Scott

It should be a good idea to manage Booleans in Excel rules, for example Boolean Attribute “show xxxx link”
Then in the interview define each link (a label types in HTML form) and show or hide the link if its Boolean is true or false.
There may be a shorter way to do it but this one is going to work.

Another way may be to define a text attribute, with name for example TEXT Attribute “link”
Then define the links in the Excel rules.
After that, create a label in the interview calling the attribute %link%

Hi Thanks for your reply - I would like to avoid the first scenario you mention above as I have many many links to show on the screen.  The second scenario doesn't work.  It only shows the URL as text.

Anyone know how to use an excel rule to create active links conditionally on the screen?

      Thanks,

      Scott
