    19D Patch inline comments for Email template

    Hi

    During testing of 19D patch , we observed that inline comments when approver requests more information and when submitter respondes by clicking submit information in the email are not getting captured in the email notification in the approval history section

    This also extends that the approval comments typed in are also not getting captured . This is happening for configurable workflows after 19D patch .

    Anyone else facing this issue during testing  . This is working in 19C patch

      I take it you are facing this for all notifications and all users? If so, please log an SR and refer to this post. We will triage further. I will in the meanwhile, also check internally to see if I learn something.

      Hi Rohan

      I followed up internally on this. This one and the issue Melissa raised seem to be tracked through the same bug. The revert that I got from the concerned folks is posted below:

      Both are related to Bug 30510156 - ISSUE IN BIP ACTION HISTORY REGION 

      The underlying issue seems to be because of a customized connections.xml in MDS and we are following up with LCM on this.

      A workaround has also been suggested:

      Create and set BIP_FORCE_ENABLE_CACHE_HISTORY profile option to false. You may wish to contact support if you need help on creating and setting this profile option.

      Thanks for replying and getting back promptly . Yes , this is consistent with other Configurable approval workflow notifications too . Will work with support to create the profile option and keep you updated
