Enabling DFF on Supplier Internal and External Registration page
    Summary:
Enabling DFF on Supplier Internal and External Registration page
    Content:

    Good Day Experts,

I am trying to enable the DFF on the Supplier Registration page using the metalink Note: Doc ID 2319470.1

As per the metalink Note step 6 says:

    6. To display additional information region for internal registration, change the additional information region's header rendered property value from 'false' to: #{pageFlowScope.callingModule == 'INTERNAL_REGISTRATION'}

I am unable to find the header render property,.

Can some one please help and what i exactly need to do in this step. A screen shot will really help.

    Thanks and Regards

    Good Day All,

I received the below steps from an SR raised and this is simple and straight forward:

    1. Once DFF's are deployed
    2. In the application make sure you are in a sandbox to enable the dff's via page composer
    3. navigate to setup and maintenance and open task on the right side of the page to do a search
    4. click search and search on the following: Configure Procurement Business Function, and open this task and specify your BU
    5. The Configure Procurement Business Function page will open and you will see the Prospective Supplier Registration URL on this page.
    6. Right click the URL to open the external supplier registration page in a new tab.
    7. *since you are currently in the sandbox you will navigate to setup and maintenance to select edit supplier registration page.
    8. Please fill in necessary fields and then enter View, Source mode.
    9. click on the Note to Approver field and click edit. (you are clicking on Note to Approver as this will bring you close to Additional Information in the Source navigation.
    10. Right click on Additional information (see screenshot), and select edit
    11. it is in this pop up box that you should be able to set the Additional Information as viewable....and then once this is complete you will be able to see the DFF's on both the internal and external supplier registration pages.

    Thanks and Regards

This step 6 is used for the case where the enablement of DFF is only needed for internal registration flow.  Please follow these steps:

      - on the Component Properties: Additional Information window, locate the last checkbox with label Show Component.

      - click the downward arrow next to Show Component and select Expression Builder... from the menu

      - on the Expression Editor window, select the radio button for Type a value or expression and put the following in the textbox right below: #{pageFlowScope.callingModule == 'INTERNAL_REGISTRATION'}

      - click OK

      Regards,

      Hong

      Good Day Hong,

Thanks for the inputs, when i navigate to "show component" field the value is already shown as true and when i replace it with the expression "#{pageFlowScope.callingModule == 'INTERNAL_REGISTRATION'}" it is returning value as "False" and the additional information is getting vanished.

Request to please help to resolve the issue.

      Thanks and Regards

When the value is False, the Additional Information region does not show up.  It's expected behavior.  Can you please share some screenshots so that we can understand the issue here better?  Was it that you were not able to save the new expression value?

      Thanks,

      Hong

      Good Day Hong,

Please find the attached step by step document.

The document you referenced above is for enabling DFFs on internal supplier registration.  For that, you will need to navigate to task Register Supplier from the task panel drawer in the Suppliers work area.  In the sandbox, the component of Additional Information needs to be enabled/shown in order to display the DFF fields.  When enabled, this region will appear under the Company Details section.

The Additional Information column you highlighted in the Approval History region is not the right UI component.  Also, Manage Supplier Registration Requests is not the correct task to perform.  You will need to go to task Register Supplier.

      Cheers,

      Hong

      Good Day Hong,

On the Register Supplier Page, i do not see any "Additional Information" section.

      Thanks and Regards

After you perform the steps in the referenced document to enable the DFFs, the DFF fields will appear in a region called Additional Information, under the Company Details.

But you can find the Additional Information component in the page composer window/structure.  From there, you select to enable the component.

        Cheers,

        Hong

      Good Day Hong,

This is really confusing to me who is new to cloud.

I performed the steps as per the earlier metalink note, when inserted the expression it rendered false value and the additional information section vanished from the page.

When i navigate to the registration page i am unable to find any DFF section.

Is there any step by step document from starting to end.

      Thanks and Regards
