    Title:
How to change the layout of Print LPN Labels
    Summary:
Need to change the design of exist layout of standard LPN label
    Content:

    Hello Everyone,

Any idea the way to change the default design/layout of the  lpn labels that carry the item Bar-code , we have a specific requirements to add some additional information to the layout such as LPN number,Batch/Lot & Expiry ... etc.

We tried to search in the label designer, but we found the other labels like Inbound shipment label that carry the IB shipment and Load number.

    Your input is highly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Hussein

    Hey Hussein,

You'll need to create an ib container label in label designer, it should start with the default when you create one, which you can then modify. Once saved you then need to add an entry in the label template screen for the inbound container to link it to you new ib container label design.

We have done the change in EBS, will check if that is possible in Cloud

Thank you Gents for your inputs.

Actually, we were able to manage to resolve the issue by saving the Original IB Container label with the custom name as mentioned by Michael, and then link it to label Template in order to overwrite the standard print out.

It might take you a while to get familiar with the Label Designer tool, so please be careful to try the delete button, because in one of the option it just remove the complete layout, so please don't spend much of time in the first design before trying to use the Delete buttons :)

Yeah that delete button is way to close to the save button and offers no "Are you sure?" option before deleting your entire label. But there is the export template button. It will export the label format in json if you want to save a backup, plus you can also manipulate the label in there and import back into Label Designer.
