    External chat launching

We are using version May '08. When using the external chat launch code in Answer#1474, the chat window that is visible to the customer appears unformatted, missing the traditional grey box. Instead it's a white borderless window. All the fields are there, but the normal sizing and grey background/border are missing. I would like to know if there is additional code necessary for the window to appear properly or what might be causing the chat window to lose the formatting normally seen when launched from end-user home page. If it's going to the same place, what is going on?

My first suggestion would be to check the url specified in:

      <input type="hidden" id="p_stylesheet" name="p_stylesheet" value="http://<INTERFACE
      NAME>" />

and make sure the css file is accessible.

This is the code that I've inserted into our page. Unfortunately I don't know what is wrong with it that it might cause the chat window to appear without formatting. Doesn't the normal chat launch page point to the same place?

Considering that your last post is a month old you may have figured this out already, but doesn't return anything for me. You might check your hostname to make sure it is correct and also check to make sure SSL is not required.

We did figure it out. Turns out our database name for some reason had a dash rather than an underscore... kills me sometimes that the simplest things can really bring things to a halt.
