    Title:
Element "Image" doesn't open the camera
    Summary:
Image Element doesn't allow the user to take a photo from camera application.
    Content:

The user needs to take a picture at the end of an activity but the image element just allows to the user to choose an image from the photo roll which is not correct. I upload a capture from the configuration that I made according to the user's documentation. https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/field-service/19a/faadu/configuring-oracle-field-service-cloud.html#t_create_a_file_property

      Hi Esteban,

Do you facing this behavior on Mobility and App (both on a smartphone/tablet)? Because browser based Manage is a completely different case.

      Regards,
      Zsolt

        Hi Zsolt

Just in the Mobility app in a smartphone, I've tried on different smartphones and activaded all the permissions on the phones but still the same failure.

I had time only for a quick test: I have an "avatar" property (field; user; image) below user entity, and I've put that into the UT / Screen configuration / Application screens / "User options" with RW.
The result is in the Mobility, if a user choose "Settings/User options":
          A) if the interface was opened on a computer (which also has integrated camera) within a browser: browse file to attach
          B) if the interface was opened on a mobil phone within a (Chrome) browser: Camera app or browse file to attach
          C) if the interface was opened on the Android app: browse file to attach.

One relevant idea is https://cloudcustomerconnect.oracle.com/posts/131d76a14a but as I see the behavior changed in an unknown moment, which is strange, because the newest documentation for 19A https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/field-service/19a/famai/using-oracle-field-service-cloud-mobile-android-application.html#c_about_the_OFSC_mobile_specifics has
"When using File Property with GUI type ‘Image’, the camera opens automatically and there is no possibility to select an existing image from the gallery. If you want to select an image from the gallery, the File Property with GUI type must be set as ‘File’ and not as ‘Image’."
          comment about this situation...
