    Does anyone else have Tax Automation issues following the 18.02 update?

    We have run the Tax Automation Migration procedure. Then run Consolidate and even Force Consolidate.

    Tax Automation rules defined under Domicile Rules are calculating as expected but rules under Global Rules are not calculating. In our app Global Rules populate NIBT in the Current Provision but there is no data pulling through to this line.

    Any suggestions?

      Liz, this is a confirmed issue with the 18.02 upgrade on Feb 2. Tax automation rules pulling from a parent source account do not work. The fix is targeted to be applied on test instances this Friday, Feb 9. We apologize for the disruption.

        We will need to test next week prior to 18.02 updates being applied to Prod.

      We had an update applied to our test environment on 10th Feb but now the Consolidate rule does not run. We get an error message.

      We do not want the 18.02 update applied to our production environment. What is the procedure for this?

      Did you run enable features? It should resolve this error.

      We've now run Enable Features and been able to consolidate the data. Looks ok now.

      For future reference, how do we stop an update being applied to the Production environment? For example, during year end reporting we may not want any changes to the system until the results are finalised including analysis and commentary.

      Hi Denitza

      Just want to confirm that the 18.02 update that will be applied to TRCS Prod on Friday will be 18.02 plus the fix for the Tax Automation rules that was applied to test on 10th Feb.

      Hi Liz,

      The TRCS Production upgrade for James & Monroe Limited has been postponed to Feb 22. At that time all the latest patches will be applied, so you should not encounter any of the issues you encountered in Test.

      Hi Denitza,

      We haven't had the 18.02 update and patches applied to our production environment yet. Will this happen tonight - Feb 23?

      The 18.02 production update for TRCS should have occurred on Feb 22 US time. Please confirm.

      Hi Denitza,

      Our TRCS Prod update to version 18.02.73 occurred overnight my time which would have been Feb23 US time. The audit log shows 3pm 23 Feb but this might be on GMT. The audit log times do not match our time zone.

      I haven't done a lot of testing at this point but can confirm that the tax automation rules are working following the migration. Enable Features has also been run.
