    Title:
Vacation rules don't work with Application Role approvals
    Summary:
Vacation Roles are ignored where invoice approval is sent to a role rather than an individual
    Content:
Hi Has anyone else had an issue with vacation rules being ignored where the approval is sent to a recipient of a role, rather than an individual/approval group? I know the approval isn't 'technically' sent to the individual, which might explain it, but it makes the functionality unusable from our perspective if this is working as intended. Thanks Marcus

      Hi Marcus,

THis is a limitation of the current vacation rule functionality. I think there is an Idea or at least ER exists.

      Let me check.

      We strongly desire the same.

I am intrigued with the concept that I would reassign from an entire group of people at the same time.  Can you provide some context.  We just moved to 19C and are having trouble with making changes to the rules period.  Have an SR with Oracle on that one.

        HI Greg

        An example scenario:

         - Rule is set to send to 'AP Approver' custom role using First Responder Wins.

         - This role has three employees attached to it.

         - One of the employees has set a vacation rule to divert to their manager.

When the rule is triggered, ideally it will go to the two people who dont have vacation rules on and the manager of the third who has set the rule.

This is how it works for approval groups but it doesnt seem to work for application role approvals (even if only one person has that role.
