    Title:
Hide Project Task and other Project Fields on Requisition
    Summary:
Our Customer wants to have only Project ID field on Requisition and Hide all other Project Fields
    Content:

At present, when Requester fills in Project Id then Task, Expenditure Type and Expenditure Organization Fields become required,

Our Requirement is to have the requester fill only Project Id filed without filling Task and Other Details.

Is there a way to do that?

The project widget as we call it in development, which is a descriptive flex field configured out of the box, is maintained centrally for all products where it appears.

Moving your query to the PPM forum for review and feedback.

      Any Idea anyone?

Need more details on this use case.   Task, Expenditure Type, and Expenditure Organization are required fields when integrating with Project Financial Management.   Therefore need to understand what you are doing with the Project segment, etc.

We have a requirement from Business to make Task, Expenditure type and Expenditure Organization as not required fields on Requisition and Purchase, because those were irralavent.

Is there a way to make these not required fields?

You’ll need to clarify that requirement, as it appears there may be a misunderstanding as to the purpose and usage of the Project Number field and how Project Financial Management ties into the P2P process.   What is the purpose of capturing a Project on Requisitions and PO’s, and what is the expectation of how the resulting expenses, etc. are eventually tracked against the project.
