    Oracle Cloud Financials Upgrade schedule
    Content:

Hello - Does anyone have any document on Oracle Cloud Financials Upgrade schedule? We are on 19A and will be going to 19B in July. I understand that this version upgrade is scheduled every quarter. However I wanted to know if there is any monthly patching cycle for Test and Production environments. Appreciate any inputs

You will find information about the upgrade schedule in the Cloud Applications Update Policy. For example, this document has more information about monthly maintenance packs, which are optional and include fixes for reported issues which you might want more frequently than waiting for the quarterly update. The quarterly update will include these cumulative fixes from the monthly maintenance pack plus new and enhanced features.

Oracle Support Document 1966109.1 (Oracle Applications Cloud – Fusion Applications Update Policy) can be found at: https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?id=1966109.1

I hope that gives you the information you are looking for.

    With thanks, Zoe

      Hi Mukund,

It is different for each Oracle customer. During the sales and support implementation process, you choose your patch/upgrade cycle.

Typically non-Prod environments (i.e., Test, Dev) are on the same cycle; they just receive the updates before Prod does. Weekly or monthly patches are usually only applied upon request, to fulfill a specific business need or to help reach a project implementation goal.

      Regards,
