    Hello,

I found the way to configure the standard UOM, you just have to do the "Quick Setup" of the "Facilities" Functional Area in the "Manufacturing an Supply Chain Materials Management" Offer. (Navigation: Setup and Maintenance > Setup: Manufacturing and Supply Chain Materials Management > Facilities > Quick Setup(gear)).
    Step_To_Standard_UOM_1

The second step in this "quick setup" is to select the default UOM classes that are needed, in the example they are all selected.
    Step_To_Standard_UOM_2

When the previous "quick setup" is finished, the "Manage Units of Measure" task will be filled automatically. (Navigation: Setup and Maintenance > Setup: Procurement > Procurement Foundation > Manage Units of Measure).

    Step_To_Standard_UOM_3

    Regards.

Oracle will not provide any UOMs as seeded UOMs.

You will need to create UOMs on your own.

If this doesn't answer your question, then I might not have understood the issue, kindly elaborate the issue.

        Hi Sunny, thanks for answering

My question is because in other clients that we have implemented, this configuration task appears with a considerable number of standard UOMs by default.

The only difference with the other clients is that this implementation does not include the inventory module, but also the UOMs are required to make purchases of uncatalogued items.

The reformulated question is. Is the UOM standard information linked to the inventory module? If yes, is that why the Manage Units of Measure task is not populated?

        Regards, Juan David

As per my experience, even if you have Inventory module included in your implementation, Oracle does not provide any UOMs by default.

UOMs are not linked to inventory, even without inventory module, you can define them under Procurement setup.

With or without inventory, you will not get any seeded UOMs defined by Oracle in cloud. This is based upon my experience.
