    Title:
Groovy script to move or copy attachments from one Servce Request object to another object
    Summary:
Groovy script to move or copy attachments from one object to another
    Content:

We have a requirement to copy/move the SR attachment to Accounts when the SR has been resolved.

I search for related solutions but doesn't seen to find a solution to do this, whether via groovy or other methods, in the oracle documentations. Is this something possible in Engagement Cloud?

      Hi John,

Yes it is completely possible by groovy , You can try out two things in groovy

Option 1: Get Attachment details via Rest API in script and try to add a Relationship to account and remove relationship to Account , If it is not working .

Option 2: Get Attachment details via Rest API and call Create Account attachment API and Use the same payload once successful call the remove attachment of the current SR.

Please try out and provide your feedback , we can proceed from there.

      Thanks

      Nags.

        Hi Nags,

Option 1: Get Attachment details via Rest API in script and try to add a Relationship to account and remove relationship to Account , If it is not working .

I was leaning towards approach before, however being a new practitioner I am not yet familiar with how and Attachment Record is related/associated to an object. But it's a good thing to hear that we shared the same idea, that makes me want to pursue finding out how this works.

Will try his option and will let you know if I can make it work.
