Hi guys,
I'm trying to load data to FCCS using DM, and appartently my understanding of the Merge - Export Mode is wrong.
I thought merging data would not replace my old data for a given POV but rather add to the values previously loaded.
Looking to a FDMEE manual I'm seeing there is another export option called "Accumulate" which seems to do the trick is there anyway to accomplish this by loading with Data Management ??
Thanks

Hi,
I think that is the expected behaviour.
The Merge Mode replaces data in the file (that you are loading) and it will replace only this data with the new ones.
In Data Management I don't find the "Acculumate" Option. I see only "Merge" and "Replace".

Thanks Antonio
The accumulate option can be found on the FDMEE manual https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E57185_01/AGFDE/erpi_submit_rule.htm
I tried loading data to FCCS using FDMEE and it shows Merge and Replace only, which is weird since it hast the Accumulate option.
Is there any option on cloud to achieve the desired behavior ?? I was thinking about loading the file in the import with the append option, however the first part of the load comes from OIA and since it doesn't ask for a file there is no way to use that option as a workaround

Hi,
the option is available on FDMEE manual but I think that in Data Management (integrated in FCCS) we don't have the same options than HFM.
In HFM (see attached immage) I have more options than Data Management in FCCS.
My advice, is loading two file in merge mode. You have to load the first file and then in "Merge Mode" the second file.
Thanks,
Antonio

I considered your suggestion but I don't think it would work since the first part of the load comes from OIA and since it doesn't ask for a file there is no way to use that option (append) as a workaround

Perfect,
you can proceed in this way. Please extract from FCCS the data loaded by OIA in txt file (file 1).
Then load data by Data Management and then please load in FCCS the file1 in Merge Replace.
In this way, you will have all data. Is it clear?

Antonio I didn't quite understand the last part
In overview I have to choose Import Data and there I have to load the data extracted
The option on Import Mode should be Merge and the Accumulation Type options are None, With Data Base or Within File ("Then load data by Data Management and then please load in FCCS the file1 in Merge Replace.") I can´t see any Replace option
Thanks

Do you have already load data by Data Management?
If yes, you can proceed with loading of txt file (selecting for "Accumulation Type" --> "Within File")
In this way, the file that you are loading not by FDMEE will merge with data loaded by FDMEE.
Let me Know,
Antonio
