Managing promotional prices in Blanket Purchase Agreement

We would like to maintain 'promotional prices' for lines in a Blanket Purchase Agreement. We are planning to use 'Price Breaks' for this purpose however in our business, we have different 'types' for promotions and need an additional field in the 'Price Break' table to state the promotion type.

    1. Would like to know if there are any other (better) options to solve this use case (managing promotional prices in BPA).

    2. Since we do not have possibility to have DFFs at price break level, would like to know if its feasible to have an additional field in the price break table like using custom objects or any other option thats feasible on Purchasing Cloud.

    Thank you in advance!

      Hi Chaitanya

Currently DFFs not a possibility for price breaks. Feel free to post an idea in the Ideas Lab.

The best I can come up with is documenting the inclusion of the price break along with its background in the change order description.

That way it will be available for future reporting from Change/Revision History.

In my view, it is possible to have DFF at price break level.
We know that PO and BPA information in stored in same tables. For example, the PO line schedule information anf BPA price break information is stored in same table PO_LINE_LOCATIONS.

Hence, DFF configured for Flexfield Code PO_LINE_LOCATIONS, will show up in BPA price break section.

In your case, you can configure the DFF for Flexfield Code PO_LINE_LOCATIONS and then you will have to do a personalization to show this dff for BPA alone.
