    We have created an ICS Agent in our on-premises network host as our E-Business Suite application. After creating the agent successfully, it shows to have incremented in the ICS Console. We have used the same agent to configure our eBS connection but it is giving the below error:

    CASDK-0005: Verify if Metadata Provider service is deployed with alias 'provider' in Oracle E-Business Suite. Ensure that all its methods are deployed with GET verb. For possible resolution, refer Error Messages chapter in Using the Oracle E-Business Suite Adapter guide.

    We have looked into the ICS EBS Adapter documentation and provided all required privileges to the connecting user as well have set "provider" as the service alias name for the Metadata Provider API and select the GET HTTP method check boxes for ALL the methods contained in the API before deploying it as a REST service. All pre-requisites seems to have been properly executed.

    When researched further, we got the below link from a blog asking us patch eBS 12.2 with some Oracle patches to fix the error. Can somebody shed some light on this? This is an urgent request.

      We got through the previous error now the error that comes is as described below:

      Unable to test connection "UKEBSINTERNAL". [Cause: CASDK-0005]

        Hi Sidhartha,

        How did you overcome this Issue, can you please share the solution. We are facing the same Issue as below:

        CASDK-0005 : Verify if Metadata Provider service is deployed with alias 'provider' in Oracle E-Business Suite. Ensure that all its methods are deployed with GET verb. For possible resolution,
         refer Error Messages chapter in Using the Oracle E-Business Suite Adapter guide.

        We have tried resetting the ASADMIN password/  server bounce but no luck.

        Any help is much appreciated.

      We have configured all the patches required for the EBS R12.1.3, even though provided with warning message during the deployment of pl/sql service as REST webservice. please assist on the issue to resolve.EBS R12.1.3_Deployment_Message.jpg

      Have configured the EBS R12.1.3 as per the document specified.
      During deployment  it gives warning message as, Service provider access is not available.

      Did you change ASADMIN password after ISG setup? If yes, please repeat the steps from Step 8 of Section 1.2 in MOS 556540.1.

      Yes, we have changed the ASADMIN password after the ISG setup and tried to deploy REST services, but still results warning message. We have raised an SR 3-14902128151 : Service provider access is not available in EBS R12.1.3.
