    Exception handling for ICS Rest Service post call
    action chain gets stuck when ics service is down


    I am using a form to feed some data to a ICS Rest service using the "call rest service" action. When the rest service is activated everything works fine. But when i deactivate the service to test for exception the action chain gets stuck and the further actions arent executed.

    How do i handle the exception scenario?

    Do you have a failure branch on your Action Chain after the Call Rest Endpoint action?  You can add it by dragging another action, like Fire Notification, to the bottom left of the Call Rest Endpoint action node. You will see a green plus sign pop up and the branch will be created.
