    Title:
    Running Visual Builder Apps On Other Servers
    Summary:
    I wanna to run my VBCS app in my local server
    Content:

    Hi everybody,

    I want to run my application developed with VBCS on my local server.

    This blog of Shay Shmeltzer everything explained to do it.

    https://blogs.oracle.com/vbcs/running-visual-builder-apps-on-other-servers-and-on-premises

    I tried an example (POC) with all the steps of the blog and it works well.

    But for my application, I did not use the DevCS for build, but I tried to build it in a local machine. the job is working well but the application does not work.

    it is necessary to use the DevCS for build? if yes, why?

    and if not, what should I do?

      What specifically doesn't work when you do the build locally? What errors are you getting?

        the build work and i don't get errors.

        the UI doesn't show up and this is my index.html code.

        <!DOCTYPE html>
        <html>
        <head>
          <meta http-equiv="x-ua-compatible" content="IE=edge">
          <meta charset="UTF-8">
          <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">
          <!-- vb:inject id="headContent" -->
          <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="resources/css/app.css">
        </head>

        <body class="oj-web-applayout-body">

        <oj-vb-content config="[[vbApplication]]"></oj-vb-content>

        <!-- visualBuilderScripts -->
        </body>

        </html>

      If the above is your index.html then you have not been successful with the required steps to build and optimise the project (https://blogs.oracle.com/vbcs/automating-cicd-and-app-optimization-for-visual-builder-apps-with-developer-cloud) because I would expect the  <!-- vb:inject id="headContent" --> comment to be replaced with a load of <script> and CSS references

        Exactly and this what i notice between te the build that i did in DevCS!!

        so it is possible that if i do the build in a windows machine it doesn't work ? is it related to os ?
