    Title:
    Mapping to Custom Objects
    Summary:
How to map out from OPA to custom objects in OSvC?
    Content:

    Hello,

I've successfully mapped into an OPA model a set of 10 custom objects that are related.  I've deployed the model and the data is retrieved from the OSvC Custom Objects and displayed on the screens flawlessly.  However, when I click the submit button, changes to the data on the screens are not saved back into OSvC.  I don't see any way to do output mapping, as none of the custom objects appear on the Output Mapping screen, and output mapping is not active for any of the entities.

I can create new records in some of the custom objects, but I see no way to update an existing record in a custom object, which is the whole point of what I want to do.

Any help is greatly appreciated as this project has a potential to save my agency several thousands of dollars a year.

    Thank you.

      some things you can check:

      1) go to Data > Mapping Settings and tick Update Contact and/or Update Incident

      2) Double click the entity and select the option that says "instances will be pre-seeded, updated..."

      3)read http://documentation.custhelp.com/euf/assets/devdocs/unversioned/PolicyAutomation/en/Default.htm#Guides/Service_Cloud_User_Guide/Data_mapping/Save_data_to_Service_Cloud.htm#Update_AD

there is a section there Considerations when saving data to service cloud
