    Title:
    Supplier Site Email Update
    Summary:
How to update Supplier Site Emails in Mass.
    Content:

    Hi

I used the Attached template t(Downloaded the sample from Oracle) to upload supplier Sites Emails. The steps I followed are

    1) File Import Export --> Upload the Attached file PozSupplierSitesInt under prc/Supplier/Import

    2) Ran the Process "Load File to Interface"  for Supplier Site. The Process went fine without any errors but still the email did not get updated with what is in file.

Let me know if am missing something here for the Supplier Site Email Update.

    Thanks
    Jag

After step 2) above, the data is in the interface table.  Next step, please go to Suppliers work area and click on Import Suppliers task. Select Import Supplier Sites from the Actions dropdown.  Follow the prompts to submit the job.

      Hong

I received the following error in the log

Error is: Import SupplierSite with VendorSiteInterfaceId = 22003 is rejected. Please see Rejection Table for details.

Can you please help me how to check the Rejection table, do i have to create a report or is there a seeded one?

      Thanks

      Jag

The table on the Import Suppliers table has a column called View Output.  Locate the row for the import job you submitted and click the icon to view the pdf report for the job. What is the status for the import job you submitted?

        Thanks,

        Hong

Thanks. now i see it. The output says the following error

          The value cannot be updated
          PARTY_SITE_NAME -- DALLAS

I am attaching the file i used to upload, i just want to update the Supplier Site Email and Remittance Email. First i tried with other values and now just with required values but still no luck.

Can you please share the xlsm used for the data entry for import?  The csv file does not show column header.  Is DALLAS the existing Address Name as well as the Supplier Site name?

      Thanks,

      Hong

Can you please remove the value for Address Name and try again?

      Thanks,

      Hong

        Thanks Hong, It worked now.

Just curious to know why does having the value for Address Name should fail, i know its not required field but i thought no harm in having as this is the correct value.

        Thanks

      Hi Jag,

When updating (Update action) a record through import, for attributes that are not used to uniquely identify a record, application copies their values provided from template to the DB. When this is attempted for an attribute that is read only, the attempt to populate the value will fail. This is the case for Address Name attribute.

      Hope this clarifies.

      Thanks,

      Piyush
