    Title:
    Consume OPA Rules from Rightnow
    Summary:
Is there a standard way to call opa rules from Rightnow without includiing the opa interview in rightnow (ex calling it from a button or a rihtnow rule)
    Content:

    Hello.

We have opa and rightnow integration and there are no mayor problems with that, but any time I need to consume OPA rules in RightNow I have to inclide the opa interview in the rightnow work space and click submit, the I have to refresh the rightnow work space

is there a standard way to call opa rules from Rightnow without includiing the opa interview in rightnow  (ex calling it from a button or a rihtnow rule)

this functionality exists? I'm missing some product licencies?

    Regards

      Hi Pedro,

If you have either the RightNow Policy Automation Tier 3 Session SKU or the OPA Enterprise Assessment API SKU, you can call the Determinations API Assess REST or SOAP APIs to call OPA rules directly without an interview.

Currently there isn't a provided way to package up Service Cloud data and pass it to these APIs, but the REST API in particular is pretty straightforward - provided you place names on your attributes, entities and relationships in your OPA project.

      Davin.

      Thanks Davin.

      So near – So far…

It would be good to consume OPA rules from RightNow as easy as we can insert a opa Interview in RightNow.

It seems that is time to call a developer.

I have developed a OPA interview to calculate Working dates (the holidays are seed from the Rightnow Holidays table)

My idea it was to consume directly from RightNow.

Here is the project if is useful for you (there are not the input fields because they are custom fields in RN), the rules are in spanish
