    How to see error in Action plan - SR creation?

    Error while creating SR using Action plans

    I have an action plan to create SRs, when I initiate the Action plan I get the error as attached.  Hence wanted to know how to see the errors to rectify them. Currently its uncertain what is being missed out in the configuration of action.

     

    Note: I have made sure I have given values for all mandatory fields in the field mapping. Not sure whats wrong.

    Generally speaking, the "specified product value is invalid for the service request business unit" error does tend to happen when there is an attribute needed by the Action and a mapping doesn't exist for that attribute.  (In Regu's case, he was missing a mapping for 'Inventory org id' and this field was needed in the Create SR Action.)  If you still have the error after reviewing your mappings for this kind of issue, create a ticket with Oracle Support and we will look through your logs to see if we can identify the culprit.

      Reghu, refer to the 'Action Errors Tab' section of the 'Manage Action Plan Actions' chapter in the 'Implementing Service' guide.  I think it has what you are looking for.

      Thanks for your instant response.  I went through that but couldn't find any error in the Error tab. Please find the screenshot.

        If you are comfortable doing it here, could you share screenshots of the other tabs in that page (Attribute Mapping, Status Mapping, Dependencies)?

        Reghu, nothing is obviously wrong with the Mapping.  Unfortunately, that means we need to look under the covers and for that we need information from you about your instance.  Can you file a quick Service Request with Support and reference this forum conversation?  They will route it to me and my dev team and we can do more investigation.
