REST API's Need to Build on "Bare Metal, VM, and Exadata" Database
    REST API's Creation

    Hi All,

I want to build REST API's on Bare Metal, VM, and Exadata Database. APEX is not available on this Database.

is there any way to create REST API's in this Bare Metal, VM, and Exadata Database.

How to install ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services) on Bare Metal, VM Database services has been answered by Vlad in your previous question. Please refer to the documentation referenced in that reply.

Yeah. I got that but, My client is not interested to install APEX. So I am just trying to explore. How can I expose DBCS table as REST API without APEX and what are the prerequisites if any. Thanks, Nazeer.

In Vlad's post, installing APEX and ORDs are listed as two distinct steps. If you don't need APEX, skip step 1 and just follow the 2nd step.

      >>1. Follow the on-premises installation process as described in APEX documentation. Follow the on-premises installation process for ORDS as described in ORDS documentation. Alternatively, see this blog post for the quickest way to manually deploy both APEX and ORDS.
