    Hi,

I have some questions for Attachment Categories for Product Management

    1) Can Attachment category have different languages and various types? For e.g. Can I create an Attachment Category called Datasheet and then create a subcategory inside it

    First SubCategory - English

    Second SubCategory - French

    2) Can attachment categories have documents in different languages?

    Thanks

    Ekansh

Not clear what do you mean by  - an attachment category having different languages/types.

Basically, an attachment category is used to classify and secure an attachment. While adding attachments, you can view the available attachment categories and add the attachment to one of them.

An Attachment category cannot have sub-categories.

However, you can create two attachment categories: (1) Datasheets-English and (2) Datasheets-French

I can see that this would be a useful function. We already have, for example, item names and descriptions that can be in different languages.

I use case that would make sense for me is to show certain users (user groups) only the attachment according to the system language that they are using. Is this what you were looking for Ekansh?

Not sure how to implement that, however. Sorry!
