Standard work order is created for an item, and always using a standard work definition.

Transform work order is created to transform an item (transform from item) to another item (work order item), with or without a transform work definition. This is used to upgrade/downgrade an item. It supports negative qty for the components, so that the user can remove one or more components from the 'transform from item' and issue other components and thereby complete the work order item. Here, the transform from item is to be issued as a component to any of the work order operations.
