    Title:
Processing Requisition Lines with configured Negotiation Attributes
    Summary:
How Negotiation related attributes can be configured and processed on Requisition Lines
    Content:

    Support / Customers

We have been meaning to provide this article for a while now. Ever so often, we see posts and questions related to why a purchase order was not created automatically from a requisition line. Many times, the impact of Negotiation related attributes is overlooked.

This article while might be familiar to many will serve for those as a refresher, while for others that are still with doubt on how this can be configured and leveraged in the Requisition to PO automation process, it should provide sufficient detail and clarity.

As always, let us know through your comments, observations and ratings, your impressions on the usefulness and benefit of this article.

Thanks Ashok for the document, Is there any options apart from the warning icon in process requisitions like search criteria or separate tab showing the requisitions needs negotiation?

Thank you for bringing the questions up Ramesh. We were going to provide some additional details very much along these lines. As you have raised it, here goes:

      a) If the customer wishes for requisition lines to not be automatically converted to a purchase order but rather have it go through a formal negotiation process, the flag Negotiation Required helps

      b) This as stated in the article places the line for the buyers to decide what to do next (add it to a negotiation for instance)

      c) To aid with this, you can search using the 'Add Fields' feature, which lines have been negotiated or require negotiation

      d) A  warning indicator also easily lets you find lines that require negotiation

      e) In the search results you can also add negotiation related attributes to enrich your analysis on next steps

The screenshots below cover all of these details.
