    Hi all

    Does anyone know if in the future, the forms formatting options are going to have a makeover? When we compare them to on premise HFM, we noticed that they are very limited. No way to make changes to cells format or data.

     

    Also it is very difficult to apply Smartview formatting back to forms. Are there any steps with best practices / conditions on how to apply formatting to forms?

    For instance I tried to apply a format in smartview and get a warning that it was not possible if one has dropdown menus or if the form that part of a dashboard.

    Any other considerations? I would love to have a list in a table format for instance. Thus we can see all the possibilities and limitations at a glance.

          I understand that you see this as a problem.

          We do have a different view on this:

          Problems/defects/bugs are things that are supposed to work, but do not work as expected, like a calculation that provides the wrong outcome, that is a defect/bug. For these items, a Support Request should be files with support.oracle.com on behalf of your organization.

          Enhancements/Ideas are either items or functionalities that are currently not available in our products, and that will contribute to the usability of our product. Think of adding more configuration options in Forms, or adding an new ratio, adding additional functionality to our product. Items that currently do not exist in our product, and will add to the value of our products.

          Our team reviews the Ideas posted in the Idea lab on a weekly basis, and we encourage our customers and partners to post their ideas and vote on the ideas of others. This to get a good understanding of the importance of these ideas, which then could be addressed in future releases.

          I would like to encourage you to post your ideas to the Idea Lab!
