    Title:
    Outbound configuration in OFSC
    Content:

    Hi,

Has any one implemented outbound integration from OFSC to Service Cloud. We are done with all the configuration settings in OFSC as per the integration guide from oracle. However, we were unable to send updates to Service Cloud.

I would like to know on what all events, outbound message gets triggered from OFSC? We need to send an update to Service Cloud whenever any update happens in OFSC for a given activity?

    Version:
    OFSC 17.2

Keerthi - It looks like you have not configured correctly. Below are sequences of steps which you need to follow

    1) Create a connection to OFSC

    2) Create new integration --> You will find the trigger option to call field service adapter

    3) Enter the details and click on nexy

    4) Select the events for e.g. activity completed etc and click on next

    5) Do the mapping by selecting any field

    6) Save & Close

    7) Activate hte configuration & once activated, click on details next to activation to see the URL

    8) Configure the same URL (minus the wsdl)  in the end point label of ICS in field service, also provide the domain, user name & password which is used to open the ICS configuration URL

It should work fine. There is nothing else needed from this. If you are still facing challenges, it might be firewall related and SR would be the best way to go

      Hi,

Are you using a middleware to acheive the same? We did the above using ICS & using events instead of message scenarios.

      Regards,

      Shankar

      Hi Shankar,

We are trying it using ICS. Can you please share related documents?

      Hi Keerthi,

Below link shoulld help you. ICS will use the subscription id for pulling information from OFSC.

      Hi Shankar,

We subscribed the events and configured the connections and integrations in ICS.

However, when we invoke the WSDL generated from ICS integration, we are getting 404-Not found error. Please suggest.

While creating connections, we used the instance url and respective login details and then used this adaptor in building integration for activity updated event.

      Hi,

The description is very generic & you would need to do this step by step.

      1) Ensure you are able to get all the responses from the events based on the user id & password configured in ICS based on the subscription ID. If you are unable to get the same then it must be access issue.

      2) If you are able to get the entire response then it might be the ICS configuration was wrongly done.

Until I get more details like screen shots or specific message, it is difficult to point where the issue might be.

      Regards,

      Shankar

Attached is the ICS documentation https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/integration-cloud-service/icsfs/adding-oracle-field-service-adapter-connection-integration.html

You can use the invoke operations tab to find the event which you have configured.

      Thanks Shankar,

In OFSC, we configured the ICS end point and credentials. In ICS, we configured the Activity updated event and i subscribed for the ActivityUpdated Event and received a Subscription ID.

Now, my question is: Should i configure this subscription id anywhere in ICS? Other than configuring the ICS end point in OFSC, are there any other configurations we have to do in OFSC? My activity updates requests are not reaching ICS  at this point of time.

      Hi team,

We have integrated OFSC and OSvC using ICS, all integrations are working fine,
but integration between OFSC to OSvC in not triggering after a period of time (24 hrs),
After we deactivated and reactivated the integration
Integration is triggering and not triggering after a period of time (24 hrs),
anyone have an idea of it, please guide us to resolve this issue.
