    Summary:
Are the articles posted on this forum helpful? How and why or why not?
    Content:

    Customers / Support

We are trying to assess whether the articles we post are at all viewed, read and used as much as we want them to be. Could you please take 5 minutes or 10 out of your busy schedules and provide a response to the following questions. Usually, when we post such questions, we seldom get any responses at all. I hope you will make an exception and extend us the benefit of your insights:

    1. Number of articles: Are there too many? Would you like a lesser number of them? How many in a month?

    2. Types of articles: Are the current mix of topics useful? If not, what type of articles would you find helpful?

    3. Are the articles useful in your business? How / How not?

      Hi Ashok,

Thanks for getting feedback. As always all your notes and tips that you provide in this forum is very helpful. Please continue posting articles. See below my feedback.

      1. Number of articles: Are there too many? Would you like a lesser number of them? How many in a month?

No its not too many. Keep posting articles that you see will be appropriate and useful for the audience in the forums. Do not limit it for now.

      2. Types of articles: Are the current mix of topics useful? If not, what type of articles would you find helpful?

Articles like know issues and bugs on the new releases and weekly CWB's will be really helpful as most of the time after any patch updates we see something breaking and we end up doing extensive testings after each release updates and CWB's. Lot of bugs and updates are not 100% updated in the MOS and we end up logging SR's for any such issues. It will be helpful if such issues can be posted in this forum so that all customers can review and discuss the bugs in details for any potential workarounds and fixes.

      3. Are the articles useful in your business? How / How not?

Yes these articles that you post are very much useful for the solutioning part of most of the business needs, deeper understanding of the functionality's  and helps with troubleshooting issues.

      Thanks again!!

      Hi Ashok,

Articles in this forum are very helpful. Please continue to publish them.

      1. Number of articles: Are there too many? Would you like a lesser number of them? How many in a month?

No. Please continue to post at same frequency.

      2. Types of articles: Are the current mix of topics useful? If not, what type of articles would you find helpful?

I concur with Ramesh's feedback, we have encountered similar issues with upgrades and publishing known bugs within a week of upgrade rollout will be of great help.

      3. Are the articles useful in your business? How / How not?

Articles are very helpful to understand the functionalities and troubleshoot issues. We are also able to leverage some ideas based on the articles while solutioning some requirements.

      Thanks,

      Swami

      Ashok,

This is a good forum and please continue to post articles and especially about new features being rolled out in the quarterly updates.

One thing we keep hearing from our customer base is the lack of information on the CWB and what fixes are addressed in them. With one week to validate on the test env it becomes hard for the customers to run all the testing and having details on what all fixes went into the CWB would definitely help them focus on those specific areas of testing.

Something to think about and see how we can get that documentation out there.

      Thanks

      Ramakrishna
